HeraHera's Roman name is Juno. She is the Goddess of Fertility/Marriage and her parents are Cronus and Rhea; her lover is Zeus. When she was born Cronus swallowed her because he was scared one of his children would overthrow him just like he did to his father. Her symbols are cows, lions, and a peacock. The Heraia is a festival for Hera, similar to Zeus, it involves athletic competition. I would describe her as one of the most powerful Goddesses. In one story Hephaestus gets revenge on Hera. Hearing about his childhood, Hephaestus was upset that Hera abandoned him so he made a golden thrown he knew his mother couldn't deny. Upon arrival Hera immediately sat on the throne and chains wrapped her up. The only person who could free her was Hephaestus himself and he eventually did.

DemeterDemeter/Ceres is the sister of Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, Hera, Hestia, Demeter and is the daughter of Cronus and Rhea. Some of Demeters children are Persephone, Arion, and Plutus. She was born into being Goddess of the Seasons. Her symbols are wheat, pearls, and animals. Thesmophoria is a festival in honor of Demeter and her daughter Persephone. I would describe her as mother nature. One story of Hera is about her getting around to different guys in bed, even her brothers. It all started with the Iasion, who was an agricultural hero. They got together and had Plutus and a demi-god Philomelos. When Zeus heard about this he killed Iasion for being with Demeter. He then got with her himself and they had Persephone. After Zeus, Poseidon also got with their sister and after a lot of seduction and form changing they managed to have Arion and Despoena.

HestiaHestia/Vesta is the Goddess of Fire. In my opinion she is the most heated Goddess. The festival "Vestalia" was held every 9th of June in honor of her. When Hestia was first born she was swallowed just like all of Zeus' children but she was the eldest so she was swallowed up first. Her symbols are health, home, a flame, and a donkey. Hestia is one of the few virgins within the Goddesses. She wasn't worshipped much by the churches and was eventually replaced by Dionysus. After this, she then took a vow to remain a virgin and had to reject both Poseidon and Apollo. Thanks to a mule she was not raped by Priapus, who nearly took her virginity.
