AthenaAthena's Roman name is Minerva. She is the Goddess of Wisdom and War and his parents are Metis and Zeus; she never had a lover which gave her the name Athena the Virgin. When Metis became pregnant with Athena Zeus was warned that it was a boy born to overthrow him so he swallowed her. Her symbols is an Olive Tree and a Snake. One "festival" for Athena was Panathenaia, in honor of her. I would describe her as a warrior. In one story Athena and some other goddesses/gods got revenge on a reserved family. Meropis had a family that was very cruel to humans and disregarded the gods. Time after time they were invited to festivals involving not only Athena but some for Artemis and also Hermes. Each time the family rejected the invitations. The gods then began to feel insulted. They wanted revenge. Hermes formed into a Shepard while Athena and Artemis formed into maids. Then they separated the family on the way to a festival "prepared for Hermes". Hermes then transformed the father, Eumelus into a raven while Athena and Artemis turned one child into a seagull and the other into an owl.

AphroditeAphrodite/Venus is the sister of Ares, Athena, and Apollo and is the son of Zeus. Some of Aphrodite's children are Eros, Phobos, and Deimos. She was born in white foam. She is the Goddess of Sexual Love and Beauty. Her symbols are a dolphin, swan, dove, and bees. The festival that honors her is called Aphrodisia and it is held annually. I would describe Athena as the Goddess of Love. One story is about her winning the apple that goes to the most fairest goddess. The Goddess Eris was not invited to a wedding so out of anger she went and threw an apple into the ceremony, The apple was meant for the fairest Goddess so Athena, Aphrodite, and Hera went for it. Zeus was originally going to judge who was the fairest but fell short and realized they all mean to much and he couldn't choose one. Instead he picks Pairs, a fair young prince, to decide for them. The Goddesses bride Paris, Hera and Athena both bribed him with glory and fame but Aphrodite bribed him with the most beautiful women in the world. Paris chose Aphrodite's bribe so she was crowned with the apple.

ArtemisArtemis/Diana is the Goddess of Hunting, Forests, and Childbirth. In my opinion she is a hunter. The festival "Brauron" was held in honor of her. When Artemis was first born she immediately helped her mother cross a strait where she gave birth to Artemis' brother, Apollo. Her symbols are a crescent moon and a bow. In one story Artemis and Apollo help their father. The king and queen of Thebes were once boasting because they had seven sons and seven daughters. They then said they were better than Leto who was only blessed with Apollo and Artemis. Out of frustration Leto asked his children to kill the fourteen kids one by one. They picked them off using an arrow dipped in poison, Apollo got the guys and Artemis killed the girls. When they were all dead the king killed himself and the queen was turned to stone.
