AresAres's Roman name is Mars. He is the God of War/Combat and his parents are Hera and Zeus; his lover is Aphrodite but she was married to Hephaestus. He was disliked by Zeus from the moment he was born because Hera had gotten herself pregnant. His symbols are a dog, spear, and a vulture. One "festival" for Ares was before battle his men would dedicate their death for him and give their lives in the battle. I would describe him as a strong, brave, and courageous warrior. In one story Zeus abducted Cadmus's sister in which case Cadmus went out looking for her. He arrived at Themes where he killed a dragon, Ares son. Ares was mad and made Cadmus his slave for 8 years. After the 8 years he gave Cadmus his daughter's, Harmonia, hand in marriage.

ErosEros/Cupid is the brother of Harmonia, Phobos, Deimos and is the son of Aphrodite and Ares. Ares has one kid Hedone. He was one of the first deities born into the world. Eros is the God of Love and he often toys with relationships. His symbol is a heart with an arrow through it. The Erotidia Festival was held for every 5 years for Eros. I would describe Eros as a love dove that messes with people's love. One story of Eros explains how he came to fall in love. His mother, Aphrodite, was jealous of Psyche's beauty. She told Eros to make Psyche fall in love with the ugliest man. Trying to do so he fell in love with her himself. He would visit her every night in secret until she spilled oil on him trying to see his face. He never returned to see her until Zeus brought them together.

ApolloApollo is the God of the sun, healing, music and competition. In my opinion he is the most poetic God. The "Festivals of Wreaths" was held every 8 years in honor of him. When Apollo was first born he had a taste of Ambrosia which turned him into a man. His symbols are the sun, the lyre, and the naval stone. In one story Apollo decided to kill The Python. Hera sent out the Python to kill the pregnant goddess Leto because she was pregnant with Zeus's baby. The Python went on a rampage and killed a lot of people, Apollo wanted revenge. He went to the cave in which the Python lived. At first sight the Python went to kill Apollo but he dodged it and sent an arrow into its forehead and the Python died. Out of joy, Apollo started dancing and singing.
